     Short for "non egrediar", meaning "without escape" in Latin, non.e as a collection is  my biggest project as an undergrad. Inspired by my personal experiences with sensory overload, I ideated the entire collection and made sketches for six unique avant garde outfits that utilize different  production methods, including hand beading and 3D printing.

     Due to the extenuating circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, I completed a five look collection at home and modeled the clothes myself with less 3D printed elements than expected and with several other textile material changes, as some of the materials I intended to use did not travel well.

     While unexpected, these changes in the end fit well with overall concept of the collection; it's inspired by my personal sensory experiences and it ended with physically wearing and experiencing the garments myself. 

 

     The aim of "non.e" is to involve all five of the conventional senses as well as proprioception to create an all encompassing experience for both the wearer and the viewer and foster compassion and understanding about the sensory experiences of others.
